We had a few hours spare so we decided to explore a bit of the forest (skoven) and moorland (hedeomraader) in Grenaa.
Although Diesel didn’t stay the night with us, he came to our home during 2 separate days where we gave him lots of love, attention and some quite long walks!
We had the pleasure of meeting and walking Lucca – a lovely 5 year old Labrador. Luccas walking adventures for the day were exploring Øer with a 9km walk taking in the beaches, forests and the many walking paths on offer.

Ahl is just one of the many places where you can experience wide, maintained walking paths, beaches and forest all in one walk. Rosie and I will often walk this loop from home and around the Ahl peninsula.
